Our hero escaped the last episode by hiding behind a couch when the explosion took place.
This episode ends with him being flooded by molten rock. I hope there's a couch near by.

Ok, so Captain Cody escaped from that one, averting the Radar Men of the moon and escaping back to his hidden spaceship on the moon (so much so that the Radar men cant seem to pick it up. Cody and company decide that the only way to thwart the moonmens plans is to steal their atomic gun! So they grab some nitrous oxide (no spaceship is without some) and stick it through their heating vents (!!). Luckily, the moon men have oxygen, but Cody and partner escape in time with the gun! They run into a cave, with the moon men (in a great car) after them! Oh no! The moon men melt the rock into the cave! Cody and partner are NOW toast!
Still amazing. I love this series.

I have downloade and burned this serial and you know, it's not so bad. The time setting is early fifties and movies were in stiff competition with that new gadget, television. It was primarly mADE FOR KIDS AND they didn't really care for the scientiful accuracies of the moon, flight to it, and such. They came for the action and fun. They also knew who would win at the end.
